HERE  WE  GO

It is just one month since we took over our various responsibilities on behalf of the Federation and to be honest it has been the most difficult 4 weeks of our lives as pigeon administrators.

The Federation was in a much more distressed situation than we had expected with many tasks having not been addressed when they should have been and actions taken.

However, the majority of that is in the past and things are looking much brighter.

The new Race Programme is up and running (weather permitting), the new Website is operating on a regular, almost daily, basis and the transporter is having its many faults put right, although we are certainly not out of the woods in this area yet but hopefully it will be in a road worthy situation in the not too distant future to give us at least 3-4 years of excellent service, provided it is regularly and professionally serviced and maintained.

Of course, all this work, on the many fronts, costs money but fortunately funds are available to cover these costs.

The Federation is now on an even keel and the new management team are working well and happily together.  The new Race Secretary has done a sterling job by producing new and easy to complete forms for providing information on race days etc. The Fed is now almost ready for his capable takeover of the role as entire Fed Secretary for 2025.

Now it’s up to you, the members, to support the Management Team in replenishing the Bank Account by sending your birds to your Federation and not deserting and going to pastures new.

Your Federation has a new look about it and a new atmosphere is now evident amongst the membership.

So over to you and please don’t let us down.

Thank you

Jill and Brian
