Info on Channel Racing 2026

It was agreed at the AGM that the Federation have 3 Channel Races with the Midlands National. The Federation birds will be libbed with the MNFC.

Race dates

23rd May Lessay (to be confirmed)

6th June Fougères

20th June Nort Sur Erdre

Marking Berryhill WMC Thursday morning

All members must have a 2026 vet check to enter these races

MNFC Members

Enter birds into MNFC races as normal

You must receive an extra ETS copy to give to your club secretary on Friday (inland marking) along with payment of 50p per bird to duplicate into the Federation.

After the race your clock must be printed off at a MNFC Clock station. You must receive an extra copy and it’s your responsibility to get the print out to your club secretary so they can compile a result.

Non MNFC Members

Non MNFC members must contact me with the amount of birds they wish to enter by Monday 10am.

Marking print outs must be handed to club secretary on Friday (inland marking) along with payment.

Non MNFC Members can have their print off done at their clubs.

Club Secretaries

Please send all payments down to pick up (with inland race payment).

Please include a list of members and the amount of birds they have entered, plus if they are MNFC members or not.

All results must be received by 5pm two days after race closure.

The George Litherland yearling race will take place from Fougères.

These 3 races will be included in the combined averages (Sentinel Cup).
